Refund Policy

This policy describes when we issue refunds on credit pack purchases made

through stacksift.in.

Full pack refund — 7 day window

If you purchased a credit pack and find Stacksift doesn't fit your needs,

we will refund the full pack price provided:

  • The refund is requested within 7 days of purchase
  • No more than 50 credits from that pack have been consumed
  • The request is sent to irfan@stacksift.in with the Razorpay payment

ID

We process the refund through Razorpay; settlement to your card typically

takes 5–10 business days. The associated credits are revoked from your

account.

Service-issue credits

If you experience a documented service issue caused by us — e.g.

extended downtime, a bug that produced incorrect data — we may issue

replacement credits at our discretion. Email us with the trace IDs of the

affected calls and we'll review.

Issues caused by upstream providers (OpenAI rate-limiting, Serper outage,

your own network) are not eligible. Issues caused by misuse (rate-limit

violation, submitting non-business-website URLs) are not eligible.

Credits and expiry

Credits expire 180 days after the purchase date of the pack that

granted them. Unused credits at expiry are non-refundable. Plan your

purchases accordingly.

We use FIFO (first-in-first-out) charging: the soonest-expiring credits

are consumed first. Your dashboard at /app/billing shows the expiry of

each grant.

Account closure

If you close your account, your existing unexpired credit grants remain

valid for the time you can technically use them. We will not auto-revoke

them on closure. We do not refund the rupee value of unused credits at

account closure.

Chargebacks

If you dispute a charge with your card issuer instead of contacting us

first, we may suspend your account immediately and revoke all credits

(including from unrelated grants) until the dispute resolves. We

strongly prefer you contact us first — most disputes are resolved

faster and to everyone's satisfaction that way.

How to request a refund

Email irfan@stacksift.in with:

  • Your Stacksift account email
  • The Razorpay payment ID (visible on your /app/billing page)
  • The reason for the request

We respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed

within another 2 business days. Settlement to your card is then up

to your bank.

Questions

This policy is intended to be customer-friendly while protecting us from

abuse. If you have a situation we haven't covered here, email us — we'll

work it out reasonably.
